SANAA wins the Pritzker Prize

Interesting. I saw their mugshots in the paper (very classic "bohemian" Japanese pose. Posh wardrobe, stiff stance, blank expression, but charming nonetheless) but no images of their work!

I was frankly a little bugged with how their designs jar the existing landscape. (The Serpentine Gallery and the MOMA extension especially, although I do like the MOMA design on a blank canvas.) Their interiors, however, seem quite lovely and innovative - and they are able to define their own identity without the static that the exteriors create.
